This Sacramento is unique in that it is built with true Neck-Through contruction a la Rickenbacker. Walnut wings are glued to a 32″ scale Maple neck topped off with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard. It is loaded with Guild BiSonic pickups.
“The Sacramento was originally designed as an homage to one of my favorite bass brands of all time. It began as a short-scale, chambered body bass, but quickly proved to be an excellent platform for variations on a theme. Now, three different scale lengths are available (30.5”, 32”, and 34”) as well as a solid bodied version. Binding, body contours, top woods, pickups, and inlays are among the multitude of other customizations at hand. Unlike many 2 pickup basses, the pickups on the Sacramento are positioned to be useful both one at a time, or in unison.
